Craig Ellis, Certified Rolfer About Craig Ellis
Craig is a Certified Advanced Rolfer, Craniosacral Therapist, and a licensed massage therapist in the State of Texas. He began his career as a bodyworker in 1993 when he began studying and practicing the art of massage. Craig was certified by the Rolf Institute in 1999 and has worked full-time as a bodyworker since then. In 2003 he also graduated from the 700-hour Biodynamic Craniosacral Therapy training program at the Institute of Complementary Therapies. Craig completed his Advanced Rolfing Training in 2008.

Craig believes strongly that bodywork should be a process of self-empowerment, and he makes every attempt to bring this quality to his work. His goal is to assist his clients in becoming self-sufficient and self-aware, and to give them the tools they need to feel good in their bodies every day.

Rates, Appointments, and Office Policy

Appointments are $120 and last approximately one hour. The first appointment usually starts at 10:30, and the last at 4:30, Tuesday through Friday, with occasional Saturday mornings. Times are somewhat flexible. Call 713.320.7481 any time if you would like to schedule an appointment.

You are also welcome to call anytime to learn more about Rolfing or Craniosacral therapy, or if you wish, you can schedule a short consultation in the office to meet me in person at no charge.

At least 24 hours notice is required when canceling or re-scheduling an appointment.

What to Wear For Your Session

Men receive work in their underwear; briefs are best if you have them. Women have several choices. Most women choose to wear a pair of loose-fitting cotton gym shorts over their underwear, and a tank top, camisole or sports bra. Looser fitting is better. You may also simply wear your bra and underwear if you like.

It is important that you are comfortable with what you are wearing, and that your "Rolfing uniform" not be too tight-fitting. Remember we may be working in several sitting and lying positions, and you may also be standing and walking before and after the session. Bicycle style shorts, especially lycra, are very difficult to work through and are not recommended. You will be afforded privacy to change clothes in the office before and after your session if needed.

Craniosacral sessions are received while fully clothed. Please wear something loose-fitting and comfortable.
